When it comes to food, the girl & the fig, Layla at MacArthur Place, and El Molino Central always stand out for their fresh, local flavors and friendly service.

There are also so many activities to keep you busy, from biking through the countryside to wandering the historic Sonoma Plaza or heading out to Bodega Bay for a quiet afternoon by the coast. Cornerstone Sonoma Wedding
Cornerstone Sonoma is one of my favorite venues in Wine Country because it perfectly blends beauty, creativity, and comfort. Surrounded by vineyards, art installations, and colorful flower-filled gardens, it’s beautiful but never over the top, luxurious yet down to earth. Couples can say their “I Do’s” by the lily pond, host dinner under the sailcloth tent, and dance the night away in the charming barn. It’s a space that truly lets your personality shine through.

Cornerstone falls into the modest pricing category, making it a great choice for couples who want that signature Wine Country feel without the ultra-luxury price tag. It’s spacious, well-maintained, and full of thoughtful touches, fire pits, garden paths, and open skies that make for incredible photos.

Buena Vista Winery is one of those places that instantly makes you feel like you’ve stepped back in time, in the best way. As California’s oldest commercial winery, it’s full of charm and history, with stone buildings, vine-covered walls, and beautiful old oak trees that make every corner feel special. It’s close to downtown Sonoma but feels tucked away, quiet, and surrounded by vineyards.

There are a few different spots on the property that work perfectly for weddings, from the peaceful courtyard for your ceremony to the wine caves and old Champagne Cellar for dinner and dancing. It’s elegant without feeling overly fancy, and that’s what I love most about it.
It’s not the most expensive venue in the area, with rates that tend to fall in the mid-range for Sonoma wineries, and you truly get a lot of beauty and history for the cost.
Abbot’s Passage Wedding - Sonoma
Abbot’s Passage is a hidden gem in Glen Ellen that perfectly captures the relaxed charm of Sonoma.
